Our Team

Total Wellness & Beauty is an aesthetic medical spa in Mansfield, Texas, founded by Anika Cox DMSc, MPH, PA-C. Dr. Cox is dedicated, and passionate, and provides her patients with high-quality integrative care to enhance their aesthetics and wellness.

Education has always been of importance to Dr. Cox. She began her studies at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas, and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, then she earned her Master of Public Health at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in New York. She completed her Physician Assistant studies at Hofstra University in New York and then obtained her Doctorate of Medical Science degree at the University of Lynchburg in Virginia.

Dr. Cox has worked in various areas of medicine including Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, and Vascular Surgery. She obtained her training as a Nutrition Health Coach from the Nutritious Life Studio.

She provides excellent patient care in a facility that promotes quality health care and wellness while encouraging personal growth and learning. When she isn’t serving patients at Total Wellness & Beauty, Dr. Cox enjoys reading and loves Audiobooks, traveling, going to the movies, running and cycling on her Peloton, and experiencing new foods. She also loves spending time with her two daughters and husband.

Kashia Howard, a native Texan, has always been passionate about self-care and cosmetology. With over five years of hands-on experience, being certified at one of the best local institutions, she has mastered her skills in multiple treatment methods, addressing many of your face and body concerns. Her focus is a whole-body approach, which aims to match your outside with the inner beauty she sees in every client she meets. She wants you to leave loving your body by putting your best face forward.

Gracie Stricklin is a licensed Laser technician and Aesthetician. After moving to Texas from Arkansas, she went to esthetician school at a professional skin care academy. Gracie fell in love with esthetics and continued her education at Texas Laser Institute where she became a laser technician. In her free time, she enjoys going out to eat with friends, baking, and visiting family in Arkansas. She is excited to help you with your skin care needs.
